Sparrowman’s Perch

It’s been a while since I’ve written here.  Most of you know that I now have two other part time jobs in addition to my main one.  In addition, I proposed to a couple of my collegues at work to submit some maps to the big convention coming up in San Diego.  (Yes, I am going again! Yeaaaaah!!!)  Nonetheless, this thing has kept me working overtime.  All in all, lots of maddness now.  Tomorrow I hope to relax a little with some friends at the annual bluegrass jam in Richeyville, PA.

Well, Pittsburgh has a couple of peregrine falcon nests with online cameras as well! Plus, both sets of birds have had chicks very recently. It’s so good to see these raptors making a comeback. Anyway, the peregrine cams (like the photo here) are provided courtesy of the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.  The live cameras are updated every thirty seconds. Check out the “hot chicks”:
