It’s good to hear these things…
After church on Sunday a lady who I’ve not seen in quite some time told me during the sign of peace: "…you’re such a good writer and you need to do more of it. I really loved your meditation that you wrote in our booklet. You should be a teacher as well…" That made my weekend if not my month so far! (She is a teacher in our local school system).
There are two things I learned from this that I need to do: (A) do more writing and find more venues for such activity, and (B) give more compliments to folks I know. Kind words, encouragement, and other niceties can go a long way. I sometimes forget about this fact.
